The Tsa-La-Gi Ancient Village near Tahlequah, Oklahoma, recreates
the lifestyle of the Cherokees during the 16th century, prior
to European contact. You can take a 45-minute tour through
the village where a tour guide will explain the buildings
and artifacts. Here are some photos from my tour::

During
the tour, the tour guide will make arrowheads, demonstrate
shooting an arrow and blow dart, show you how to play
stick ball and much more. This is well worth visiting
and your kids will enjoy it. Contact Cherokee
Heritage Center for more information or to schedule a tour.
