What is FT Cruiser?

To get the most from your homeschool experience, you and your children need to visit the historical towns, museums, parks, and other educational resources located throughout the state of Oklahoma. However, because of time constraints and/or distance, this is not always possible. It could be too far away, you don't have time to make the trip; or, it may be that you're just not sure whether it's worth driving to. That's where FT Cruiser (Field Trip Cruiser) can help. My husband, Bill, and I got the idea for this project as we were driving our PT Cruiser to take pictures of the Spiro Mounds a kid's book I'm writing called, Adventures in Spiro Mounds.

PS: When you're ready to go on a real field trip, you may want to purchase the Oklahoma Scrapbook to keep a record of your trips in Oklahoma.

How do I get access to the site?

Simply click on a FT Cruiser Link below and visit Oklahoma without leaving your living room. You can then decide if you want to visit the site in person or use this online version for your child's learning experience. Be sure to print out my Field Trip Planning Guide (pdf document - must have Acrobat Reader Installed) before you go on the trip! I hope you enjoy the "trip!"

Please email: contact@oklahomahomeschool.com and let me know what you think of this project as it grows.
